As we know that some students live in hostels, Flats for higher education . The food which they intake is mostly unhealthy because it is cooked in the dalda ghee which is very cheap and dangerous for the health of students. So, What can we include in their diets to improve their health? Here, Superfoods are the considered to be the solution.


Now , A Question arises in our minds " What are Superfoods ?"


Superfoods are basically nutrient-rich eatables which are advantageous for our health as most of them are omega-rich which are poly-maturated fats i.e., They reduce the risk of heart diseases & reduces inflammation from arthritis. These contain so many health benefits that's why these are beneficial for health.


Some Superfoods for students are listed below :

1. Moringa Leaves  


Moringa Leaves are rich in omega and antioxidants , boost  up energy , increase stamina , maintain cholesterol & also maintain the sugar-level .

Remedy:-

STEP-1: Wash the Moringa Leaves.

STEP-2: Dry them properly & make powder .


How to intake Moringa Leaves :-

Eat a spoon of powder mixed with your vegetables or lentils in both of your meals i.e., Lunch & Dinner .


2. Flaxseeds


Flaxseeds are also omega-rich . These are excellent energy boosters, provides a good amount of proteins and fibers. These are a rich source of vitamins and minerals, keep our heart healthy, improve blood-circulation, maintain health parameters .

How to intake these seeds :-

We can eat them into two ways either we can eat them in raw-form by making sauce or in roasted-form which would be considered as salty-flaxseeds. The only difference is this.....that raw seeds contain full nutrition value as compared to the  roasted one. Students should take one tablespoon of flaxseeds in their breakfast .


3. Curd


       
The combination of curd and basil seeds is used for curing constipation , improving indigestion , increasing immunity .

Remedy :-

STEP-1: Take 1 teaspoon of Basil seeds and 100ml water .

STEP-2: Soak the basil seeds into water for 10 minutes . After 10 minutes, the size of the seeds will be increased .

STEP-3: Then, add those soaked seeds into a bowl of curd & mix them properly . Now, it's ready to eat .

*For better results , take this regularly for 2-3 months .


4. Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Watermelon Seeds  



These seeds are the natural source of vitamins and minerals. The combination of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and watermelon seeds is really beneficial for health. These seeds help to balance the hormones. 

How to intake these seeds:-

Take 250gm of quantity of each seeds, mix them in a container. Eat a spoon of this mixture daily in morning & evening.
